Box Score BALTIMORE Md. – The Lebanon Valley women's tennis team had a strong finish to the fall season on Sunday highlighted by Jacquelyn McBride with a second-place finish in the Singles A flight of the Goucher Invitational.
 
McBride won her first-round match 4-2,4-0 over Sweet Briar's Isabela Guilarte. She dropped her first set of her second-round match 4-2 to Gettysburg's Sarah Guistwite. McBride forced a third set with a 4-2 victory and then won the match by a score of 10-5 in the third set. The senior faced another Gettysburg opponent in the final dropping a 4-1, 4-1 decision to Andrea Brazyte.
 
Nicole Honrade finished third in the Singles B flight going 2-1. Honrade swept her first-round match 4-0, 4-0 over Kera Skove of Stevenson University. She dropped her second-round match 4-2, 4-2 to eventual champion Avery Palandijan from Gettysburg. In the third-place match, Honrade earned a 4-2, 4-2 victory over Dickinson's Alisa Steele.
 
Sarah McComas also had a third-place finish in Singles C. She topped Sweet Briar's Nathalia Mainart in the first round. The sophomore dropped her second-round match 4-2, 4-3 to Eden Lokov of Gettysburg and then won a thrilling three-setter 3-4, 4-2, 10-7 in the third-place match over Goucher's Lucy Ingraham.
 
Gigi Guay went 0-3 in the Singles D flight. She dropped her first round match to Gettysburg's Catherine Haley 4-0, 4-1, then fell 4-2, 4-1 to Mackenzie Dicke of Stevenson in her second match. Her third match of the day was a tough defeat at the hands of Stevenson's Yana Vaiman by a score of 4-3 (7-2), 4-3 (7-2).
 
The team of Eliana Shenk and Abbey DeLisio went 1-2 in the Doubles A flight to finish sixth. They were defeated 4-2, 4-1 in their first-round matchup against Goucher. They rebounded for a 4-0, 4-1 victory in their second match before falling 4-3 (7-4), 4-1 in the fifth-place match.
 
Jenna Miner and Kendall Halsey dropped their first two matches in the doubles B flight before winning their final match of the day. They dropped a 4-0, 4-3 decision in the first-round to Sweet Briar's duo who went on the win the flight. In their second match of the day, they dropped a 4-2, 4-1 decision to Gettysburg. Miner and Halsey finished strong with a 4-1, 4-1 victory over Rutgers-Camden.
 
The Dutchmen are finished with the fall season. They will be back in action in March with a Spring Break trip to Hilton Head Island from March 2-9. A full spring schedule will be released within the next few weeks.
