ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley track and field squad will begin their 2022-23 indoor season next Friday, December 9 at Franklin & Marshall College. The Dutchmen will have seven chances to record Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) and All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AATRFC) qualifying times and marks.
Four of the seven pre-championship meets will be on Fridays starting next weekend at the Diplomat Open in Lancaster. The Dutchmen will have one meet this semester before breaking for finals and the holiday break. LVC returns to action on Friday January 13, 2023 with the annual Dutchmen Invitational inside the Arnold Sports Center. The following weekend, the Dutchmen head to the Lehigh Valley for the Moravian University Indoor Meet at Lehigh's Rauch Fieldhouse. January ends with a trip back to F&M for the Mini-Dip Invitational on January 27.
The Dutchmen will make their first of two trips to the Mecca of track and field on February 3 as they compete in the NYU DIII Invitational at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory in New York City. The following weekend they will make a short trip to Reading for the PLEX Shootout hosted by Alvernia University. The final regular season meet will be at Susquehanna on February 18.
The MAC Indoor Championships will be held on February 24-25 at Alvernia University. The AARTFC Championships are the following weekend, March 3-4 at The Armory. The Dutchmen will look to qualify at least one student-athlete for the NCAA Division III Championships which will be held at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama on March 10 and March 11.
The Dutchmen return a large portion of the men's team that finished third and the women's team that finished fifth at the MAC Championships a year ago.
