ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley volleyball team will begin play in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) Championships on Monday night with a trip to Grantham to face Messiah University in the play-in game. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Jordan Court in Hitchcock Arena.
The Dutchmen qualified for the conference championships for the first time since 2019 as the fifth seed while Messiah is the fourth seed. LVC and Messiah began conference play back on September 7 with the Falcons rallying for a 3-2 win after the Dutchmen won the first two sets in a close and exciting match. The winner of Monday's match will travel to face top-seeded Eastern University on Wednesday in the semifinals. Third-seeded Widener University will play second-seeded Stevenson University in the other semifinal matchup down in Maryland. The winners of each semifinal will play for the Championship on Saturday at the higher seed. Ticket price for all matches is set by the conference office and are as follows:

Taylor McInerney has paced the offense this year with 416 kills, 38 service aces, and 17 assists. She is coming off a 34-kill night against Widener which is the most kills in the conference this season and second in program history. Defensively, she has recorded a team-high 236 digs and 18 total blocks.
Ali Whitworth is also having a big year for the Dutchmen and is second in the conference with 721 assists. She also has 62 kills, 22 aces, 197 digs, and 24 total blocks.
The Dutchmen has received significant offensive contributions from
Margaret Cole,
Julia Rill, and
Robyn Stepler. Cole is second on the team with 180 points recording 129 kills, 11 assists, 28 aces, 34 digs, and a team-high 37 total blocks. Rill has contributed 134 kills, 26 assists, 18 aces, 232 digs, and nine blocks. Stepler is the fourth Dutchman to record over 100 kills this season with 102. She also has 30 aces, 18 assists, 92 digs, and 20 blocks.
Kasey Thomas has been a leader on the court defensively recording 227 digs while adding 58 assists and 13 aces.
Olivia Nace has been a force at the net with 33 total blocks to go with 36 kills. LVC has also received significant play from
Madison Kreider with 21 aces,
Abigail Souder with 172 digs, and
Kelli Heffer with 93 kills.
Lebanon Valley finished the regular season as one of the top defensive teams in the conference ranking second in opponent kills and assists, third in opponent service aces, and fourth in opponent hitting percentage and digs. The offense was ranked fourth in hitting percentage, third in assists, fourth in kills, and fourth in service aces.
