Box Score DALLAS, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team continued their strong play with a 7-2 win over Misericordia in MAC crossover action on Wednesday afternoon. LVC improves to 3-0 on the year while Misericordia drops to 1-1.
In doubles play, LVC took two of the three matches with the #2 group of
Madison Poladian and Meredith Hass picking up an 8-3 win while
Zoe Birch and
Emily Wilczek recorded an 8-4 win at the #3 double slot.
The Dutchmen took five of the six singles matches sweeping the #2 through #6 matches.
Jacquelyn McBride won a pair of sets 6-2, 6-2 for a win at the second singles position. At #3 singles, Haas also won 6-2, 6-2 for another Dutchmen win. Poladian and Wilczek each won three-set thriller in the tiebreaker at the #4 and #5 positions respectively.
Zoe Birch wrapped up the Dutchmen dominance in singles play at #6 singles with a 6-1, 6-4 win.
