Box Score DALLAS, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis team remained unbeaten in the early going of the 2021 season with an 8-1 dominating performance over Misericordia on Wednesday afternoon. LVC now sits at 3-0 on the year while the Cougars dropped to 0-2.
In the three doubles matches, LVC swept the Cougars winning all three while only dropping five games combined. The top position duo of
Jeffrey Bauer and
William Harriger took the match 8-4.
Luke Senft and
Ben Hinkley cruised to an 8-1 victory in the #2 slot while
Brady McLucas and
Jonathan Yenser swept the Cougar duo at the #3 position 8-0.
The Dutchmen went 5-1 in singles play, with the five victories coming while losing just four games in the five matches combined.
Brendan Byler won 6-2, 6-0 at the #2 spot while Senft took the #3 match with ease at 6-0, 6-1. At #4 singles,
Nicholas Simon picked up a straight-set win by a score of 6-1, 6-0. Bauer and Yenser at the #5 and #6 slots respectively picked up sweeps with both winning 6-0, 6-0 in their matches.
