Box Score YORK, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis kept rolling with an 8-1 victory over York (Pa.) in MAC Commonwealth action. The Dutchmen swept the three doubles matches and went 5-1 in singles play. LVC is now 4-0, 2-0 MACC while the Spartans drop to 0-5, 0-2 MACC.
In doubles play, LVC swept the Spartans duos to pick up three huge points. The top doubles duo of
Ben Hinkley and
Luke Senft picked up an 8-6 victory to start the day. Both #2 doubles of
Jeffrey Bauer/Will Harriger and #3 doubles
Jonathan Yenser/
Nicholas Simon picked up 8-2 wins to complete the sweep of doubles action.
The Dutchmen went 5-1 in singles play to complete the match victory. Senft won the only three-setter of the day by dominating the tiebreaker 10-3. At #3 singles, it was Bauer winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. Simon cruised to a win at the #4 singles spot losing just one game in the two sets combined. Yenser and Harrifer each won in two sets with the first set needing a tiebreaker to clinch but both Dutchmen would come out victorious.
