WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team narrowly escaped with a 5-4 victory over King's (Pa.) on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action. The Flying Dutchmen improved to 3-5.
In No. 2 doubles,
Rachel Duong and
Meridyth Sanders took down Diana Rodriguez and Alexis Zalutko 8-4, followed by
Leah Wingert and
Elizabeth Drda's narrow 8-6 win in No. 3 doubles.
In No. 3 singles action, Sanders picked up a close 7-5, 7-6(4) victory over Alyssa Santarelli, while Drda picked up a dominant 6-2, 6-0 win over Thea Seasock.
Zoe Birch then won at No. 5 singles, defeating MiKayla Reynolds 6-2, 6-2.
LVC is back in action on Wednesday, March 27th at 4 p.m. at Elizabethtown.
