LEBANON, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's and women's cross country teams hosted its annual Last Chance Run Fast Invitational at Union Canal Tunnel Park on Friday afternoon, Oct. 25.
LVC head coach
James O'Brien '07, M'16 rested a number of his male and female runners, allowing several Flying Dutchmen to focus on next Saturday's Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship meet.
This afternoon's unique event allowed runners from several teams the opportunity to post qualifying times with their season-ending conference championship races looming.
On the women's side, LVC was led by
Julia Resele, who finished 21st out of 70 runners after crossing the line in 26:12.8 at the 6K race.
Taylor Laliberte wasn't far behind her teammate and paced 24th with a mark of 26:25.0.
April Gerber,
Becky Ford,
Anna Donnelly,
Gretchen Thomas,
Kayla Glant,
Julia Roling, and
Sara Tilberg also competed for the Dutchmen today.
For the men, just two Dutchmen competed in the 8K race, including
Damian Martinez and
Jacob Creitz.
