ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis team fell to the defending conference champions from Messiah by a 7-2 decision at the Shankroff Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon, April 7.
The visitors (2-7, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) took all three doubles matches from the Flying Dutchmen (5-6, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth), with the team of
Luke Senft and
Ben Hinkley being edged by Messiah's Galen Fitzkee and Keller Martin 9-7 in the No. 3 contest.
A pair of Dutchmen in
Blake Martin and Hinkley came away with victories in singles action, with Martin defeating Connor Graybeal 6-2, 6-3 in the second solo matchup and Hinkley going 7-5, 7-5 over Bryson Boettger in the No. 6 outing.
The Dutchmen return to action on Tuesday afternoon when they host MAC Commonwealth foe Hood at 3:30 p.m.
