ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis team picked up its second conference victory of the spring thanks to an 7-2 win over MAC Commonwealth foe Hood at the Shankroff Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon, April 11.
The Flying Dutchmen (6-6, 2-1 MAC Commonwealth) emerged from doubles play with a 2-1 advantage thanks to an 8-1 victory by
Jordan Heavel and
Blake Martin in the No. 2 contest and a forfeit win for the No. 3 team of
Luke Senft and
Ben Hinkley.
LVC was aided by two more forfeit victories in singles action, with Elliott Klecker and
Ben Hinkley claiming wins in the fifth and sixth matchups, respectively. Martin won the top solo outing 7-6, 6-1 over Alex Sexton,
Jordan Heavel outlasted Ben DeLeo 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 in the No. 3 contest, and
Luke Senft finished off Andrew Heon 6-1, 6-0 in the fourth match.
The Dutchmen are on short rest as they travel to Penn State Harrisburg for non-conference action on Thursday afternoon, April 12.
