HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley men's tennis took part in its second day of competition during its annual spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C. on Monday morning, March 5. LVC was defeated by Penn State Behrend 6-3.
After the Flying Dutchmen (2-3) were swept in doubles play, three singles players came away with victories in solo action.
Luke Senft earned his second singles win in as many days thanks to a 6-2, 6-3 decision over Michael Funera in the No. 4 contest.
Ben Hinkley and
Samuel Miller needed three sets to earn wins in the fifth and sixth matchups, respectively, with Hinkley topping Brent McFarland 6-2, 3-6, 10-5 and Miller going over Noah Colvin 2-6, 6-2, 10-8.
Next up for LVC is Methodist on Tuesday night, March 6. Start time for the match is set for 6 p.m.
