HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its 2017-18 campaign against Drew on the first day of its annual spring break trip to Hilton Head on Sunday morning, March 4. LVC fell to the Rangers 7-2.
Jordan Heavel and
Blake Martin picked up the first victory of the spring for the Flying Dutchmen (2-2) when they defeated Drew's top doubles team of Bryce Kennedy and Will Morrison 8-6.
Singles action is where the Rangers (3-0) made the majority of their headway, with LVC's
Luke Senft emerging as the only Dutchman to earn a solo victory. He defeated Drew's Lloyd Goldstein 6-3, 7-5 in the No. 5 matchup.
The Dutchmen are back in action early tomorrow morning when they take on Penn State Behrend at 8:30 a.m.
