ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team was nearly perfect in the team's 8-1 victory over MAC Commonwealth foe Lycoming at the Shankroff Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.

The Flying Dutchmen (10-4, 4-0) swept doubles action, led by their top duo of Marla Scacchitti and Rebecca Pierpont. The pair defeated Sophie Herzing and Kaitlin Hallabuk 8-5. In the second matchup, Alyssa Potosnak and Megan Williams earned an 8-5 victory over Hannah Summerson and Julia Nagle. Melanie Haas and Elise Hanks-Witaszek made it a clean sweep for LVC with an 8-4 win over Brittany Lenze and Mariah Durrant in the third contest.

Pierpont went 6-1, 6-1 over Herzing in the second singles matchup, while Haas completed the individual sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Hallabuk in the No. 3 outing. Potosnak earned a 6-3, 6-3 decision over Nagle in the fourth spot, Elizabeth Drda joined the party with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Durrant in the fifth contest, and Williams emerged victorious in the No. 6 pairing thanks to a 6-3, 6-1 decision against Lenze.

The Dutchmen will look to stay perfect in conference play when they travel to Albright for their next contest on Tuesday afternoon.
