GLENSIDE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team stayed perfect in conference play thanks to a 7-2 road win over MAC Commonwealth foe Arcadia on Tuesday afternoon.

The Flying Dutchmen (9-4, 3-0 MAC Commonwealth) swept doubles play to take an early 3-0 advantage. LVC's top team of Marla Scacchitti and Rebecca Pierpont defeated the Knights' Allyson Naiken and Janelle Bradley 8-3. Melanie Haas and Elise Hanks-Witaszek earned a victory over Casey Boldt and Maeghan Myers by the same margin in the third doubles outing. In the No. 2 matchup, Alyssa Potosnak and Megan Williams bested Zoe Foglia and Amy MacNeill to earn Lebanon Valley its third victory of the day.

Scacchitti worked hard to pick up a win over Naiken in the top singles contest. She overcame an early setback to take the match by a 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 1-0 (10-8) margin. Elizabeth Drda clinched the overall victory for the Dutchmen with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep of Bradley in the fifth matchup, Williams took down Sarah Rosario 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 6. outing, and Potosnak came through with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over MacNeill in the fourth contest.

LVC has won four in a row, including three crucial league victories. The Dutchmen will look to keep rolling when they host MAC Commonwealth rival Lycoming at the Shankroff Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.
