HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley capped its three-match slate in Hilton Head, S.C. with a down-to-the-wire 5-4 victory over Eastern Nazarene in the team's final outing of spring break on Thursday afternoon.

LVC (4-2) earned a pair of crucial doubles victories when Rebecca Pierpont and Megan Williams defeated ENC's Lindsey Steelman and Jacquelin Arretche 8-4 in the No. 2 matchup and Elise Hanks-Witaszek and Elizabeth Drda edged Courtney McCarthy and Annelise Sherrill by the slimmest of margins at 9-8 in the third doubles contest.

Drda had to work hard in taking a 7-6, 6-4 decision from Arretche in the No. 4 singles outing, while Rachel Duong handled Sherrill 6-1, 6-1 in the fifth solo matchup. A couple of tight setbacks for Pierpont and Melanie Haas kept things close but Williams took the No. 6 contest from McCarthy 6-1, 6-4 to end LVC's spring break trip on a winning note.

The Dutchmen head home with a week until their next outing when they host Ursinus at the Shankroff Tennis Center on March 16.
