CHANDLER, Ariz. – Thanks to the program's success in the classroom during its most recent campaign, Lebanon Valley has earned a 2016 ZAG Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Team Award.
In order to be eligible for the award, a team must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during its season of competition. A total of 14 LVC players in

Maddie Fox,
Paige Gembe,
Rachel Gorman,
Kristi Langhans,
McKenna Lupold,
Olivia Poltonavage,
Alida Steenkamer,
Caity Stevens,
Isabella Vulopas, and
Rachel Youngs were named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Fall Academic Honor Roll for earning GPAs of 3.2 or better during the fall. Fox was also named to the MAC Academic All-Conference Team.
The Flying Dutchmen were one of 12 MAC field hockey programs to be recognized by the NFHCA with an 2016 Academic Team Award.
