ANNVILLE, Pa. - This year's Lebanon Valley men's basketball alumni game is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. in Sorrentino Gymnasium. LVC's men's and women's basketball teams will play conference rival Hood in the afternoon. The men play at 2 p.m. and the women at 4 p.m.
"Our Alumni Game has grown each year," said LVC head coach
Brad McAlester. "I hope you can attend and discuss old war stories with members and friends from the Dutchmen Family. It will also be Hot Dog Frank Day and our first-ever Make-A-Wish Game, so bring your family and enjoy the game. Even if you're unable to attend, we'd love to hear from you and get your contact info so we can include you in future years."
Following the alumni game and before LVC's contest against the Blazers, the men's team will honor a child from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Participants in the alumni game are strongly encouraged to make a $10 donation to the cause as all proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
As is tradition, the 2017 Hot Dog Frank Award for Athletic Service will be presented at halftime of the men's game, with free hot dogs to be available at the indoor arena of the Arnold Sports Center during the break between the men's and women's contests.
