KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Lebanon Valley men's basketball team was honored for academics by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) with the release of its 2025-26 academic awards on Wednesday afternoon. The Dutchmen earned the honor of being one of over 400 programs to earn the Team Academic Excellence Award while four Dutchmen were named to the Honors Court.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. This is the second consecutive year LVC has earned the Team Academic Excellence Award.
LVC's Honors Court honorees and majors are:
Brendan Lonergan- Exercise Science
Karson Pavlik- Exercise Science
Gannon Perlini- Marketing
Kyle Tang- Biology
Lonergan, Pavlik, and Tang were named to the Honors Court for the second consecutive year.
