ANVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley fell to King's (Pa.) 7-2 in the team's regular-season home finale on Sunday afternoon.

The Flying Dutchmen got off to a solid start when Rebecca Pierpont and reigning MAC Commonwealth Women's Tennis Player of the Week Marla Scacchitti won their first doubles contest 8-5 over the Monarchs' top duo of Madeline Griffin and Hannah Jenkins.

It was tougher sledding for LVC in singles play as Elizabeth Drda was the team's lone solo player to emerge victorious. She bested Miranda Warunek 6-1, 6-2 in the number six matchup. Alyssa Potosnak put in a hard-fought outing in the fifth singles pairing before falling to Maggie Walsh 5-7, 6-4, 10-5.

The Dutchmen wrap up the regular season on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Alvernia for MAC Commonwealth action.
