ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Lebanon Valley fell 8-1 at Elizabethtown, the No. 18-ranked team in the ITA Atlantic South Region, on Tuesday afternoon.

Elizabeth Drda the lone victory of the day for LVC (3-6) as she defeated the Blue Jays' Amber Burd 6-3, 6-3 in a matchup of the teams' number six singles players. The solo win was her fourth of the 2015-16 campaign. In the number two spot, Marla Scacchitti turned in a solid effort against Taylor Helsel of E-town (3-2) before ultimately falling 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles action, the Flying Dutchmen's top team of Rebecca Pierpont and Scacchitti turned in the strongest effort before dropping an 8-4 decision to E-town's Madison McCall and Helsel.

LVC will be back at it this Saturday afternoon when the Dutchmen begin MAC Commonwealth play by hosting Messiah at 1 p.m.
