ANNVILLE, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, Lebanon Valley's men's basketball team hosts Arcadia for a MAC Commonwealth clash that will go a long way towards determining playoff positioning in the league's upcoming postseason tournament. The showdown with the Knights will be a "White Out" as fans are encouraged to wear white in support of the Flying Dutchmen.
LVC (13-9, 7-6 MAC Commonwealth) currently sits third in the conference standings, while Arcadia (15-7, 8-5 MAC Commonwealth) holds sole possession of second place thanks to a pair of wins over league-leading Alvernia and Lycoming in the team's last two outings.
A victory for the Dutchmen on Saturday would earn them a pivotal tiebreaker over the Knights. LVC defeated Arcadia 83-74 in Glenside on Dec. 2, and a win tomorrow would complete the season sweep.
Andy Orr netted 25 points with eight rebounds and
Zach Mrozek scored a career-high 20 tallies.
Sam Light (18 points) and
Travis Conrad (11 points) joined their teammates as double-digit scorers.
Lebanon Valley will be decked out in their home whites. Be sure to throw on your favorite white t-shirt or sweatshirt for one of the season's most crucial contests. Tip-off at Sorrentino Gymnasium is set for 4 p.m.
