RADNOR, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's depth proved the difference in the team's 6-3 victory over Cabrini on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 22.
Despite the Cavaliers top singles player and doubles team earning wins, the rest of the Flying Dutchmen (2-1) lineup picked up victories to give LVC its second win of the young season.
Lebanon Valley's number two duo of
Megan Williams and
Ariana Freeman earned an 8-6 victory over Cabrini's Nicole Broccolino and Maggie Javitt while the team of
Rachel Duong and
Allison Weidman were credited with a win in the three slot.
Freeman earned a hard-fought 6-4, 7-5 singles win over Elena Conway, the Cavaliers' number three player, and
Danielle Krick and
Elizabeth Drda topped their Cabrini counterparts in the number five and six slots, respectively.
Marla Scacchitti, LVC's number two singles player, was credited with a solo victory by forfeit.
The Dutchmen are next in action on Sunday, Sept. 27 when they host Susquehanna.
