SCRANTON, Pa. – Lebanon Valley ran into a red hot Scranton team on Sunday afternoon and the Royals (5-0) remained undefeated with a 9-0 sweep of the Flying Dutchmen (1-1).

LVC's top doubles team of Rebecca Pierpont and Marla Scacchitti fell to Emily Walsh and Julia Frattaroli 8-2 while the number two duo of Allison Weidman and Megan Williams took an 8-3 loss and Elizabeth Drda and Rachel Duong dropped an 8-1 decision in the three slot.

Pierpoint, the top Dutchmen solo player, took a 6-1, 6-1 setback in singles action while Ariana Freeman, Williams, Danielle Krick, Drda, and Weidman couldn't earn a victory throughout the rest of the lineup.

Lebanon Valley will try to get back on track in the team's next outing at Cabrini on Tuesday afternoon.
