ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley blanked Hood, 5-0, in their semifinal to advance to Saturday's Commonwealth Conference Championship match.

The Dutchmen (12-7) will host Alvernia at 1 p.m. Saturday with an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament on the line. Top-seeded LVC will be appearing in its eighth straight CC final, seeking its first crown since 2009. LVC defeated Alvernia 6-3 in their regular-season meeting on April 14.

Mary Kate Lemon matched former teammate Christie Graf '14 for the program's career doubles wins record to lead a 3-0 sweep for the Dutchmen, and Olivia Edwards and Nicole Kracum secured singles victories to dispatch the Blazers (5-10), who were making their first-ever CC Tournament appearance.

Lori Noble and Ariana Freeman quickly won 8-0 at No. 3 doubles, and Lemon and Kracum followed them with an 8-3 victory at No. 1 as Lemon won her 58th career doubles match. No. 2 doubles flipped around their regular-season result against Hood as Marla Scacchitti and Brittany Dierwechter won 8-4.

In singles, Edwards won first with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 6, and Kracum secured the team win thanks to her 6-3, 6-0 match at No. 3. LVC led everywhere else at the time the match ended, with Lemon, Noble, Dierwechter, and Scacchitti all a set up; Noble and Dierwechter each led 5-0 in their second sets.
