ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley earned a 6-3 win over Misericordia as it opened its spring home schedule on Thursday.
The Dutchmen (4-3) won four singles matches after taking two of three doubles flights. Senior
Mary Kate Lemon won at No. 1 singles and at No. 1 doubles with
Nicole Kracum to improve to 98 combined wins for her career, and has a chance to become only the fifth Dutchman to reach the century mark when LVC takes on Ursinus Saturday.
Lemon's 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 led singles, and
Lori Noble won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2. Kracum added to her doubles victory with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3, and
Brittany Dierwechter was a 6-1, 6-0 victor at No. 4.
In doubles, Lemon and Kracum won 8-3 at No. 1 and Noble and
Ariana Freeman were 8-6 winners at No. 3.
