How It HappenedNo. 10 Lebanon Valley held off a late fury from Drexel and edged the Dragons 4-3 to win its sixth consecutive game on Friday night at Hersheypark Arena.
The first period did not feature much action until

Jacob Horst and
PJ Hefferin to give the Dutchmen a 2-0 advantage at the first intermission.
The Dragons got one back just two and half minutes into the second when Ryan Williams scored from Christopher Rodrigue and Dylan Hart, but at the six minute mark of the period,
Cody Pessig went top shelf on Zachary Kantner to put the Dutchmen back up by two at 3-1. Later in the period,
Eric Higgins scored a huge insurance goal with assists from
Matt McGinley and
Brad Nolan, as LVC went into the final period with a three-goal lead.
The third period was very chippy with the checking picking up and the penalty total rising. Four minutes in, Matthew Williams brought Drexel to within two with his power play goal, and three minutes later R. Williams netted his second of the game to make it a 4-3 contest. However, for the remainder of the period, goaltender
