NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College men's ice hockey team garnered recognition from the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) after the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, as the conference office announced that two of the program's players were listed on the All-MAC Men's Ice Hockey Team in a release on Thursday, March 5. Fifth year defenseman Mason Proskin was chosen to the Second Team, while senior goaltender Chris Branch was named an Honorable Mention.
Proskin received All-MAC honors for the first time in his career, following a strong final year with the Dutchmen. This season, Proskin led the Dutchmen with four power-play goals. On the team, the defenseman was tied for fourth with 12 points, tied for fourth with eight assists, and tied for fifth with 23 blocks. Additionally, the fifth year tied for eighth in the MAC in power-play goals. Proskin delivered several impactful performances during the campaign, including when he tied a career-high two points with the game-winning goal and an assist in the 4-1 victory at Misericordia University on Feb. 6. The fifth year also dished out a career-high two assists while blocking two shots in the 5-3 win over Alvernia University on Nov. 21, 2025.
Branch was selected to the All-MAC Team for the first time in his career as well, after delivering an excellent senior year for Lebanon Valley. This winter, the goalie led the team with 728 saves, 36.40 saves per game, a .925 save percentage, a 2.99 goals-against average, eight wins, and one shutout in 20 games. In the conference, Branch ranked first in saves and saves per game. The goalie also ranked among the best in the nation in saves and was 30th in save percentage. Branch posted several strong efforts during the campaign, including his season-high 54 saves during a shutout effort in the 4-0 victory over Stevenson University on Feb. 14. The goaltender also delivered 53 stops in the 3-2 win over Alvernia on Nov. 22, 2025. Branch was recognized for his contributions during the year, as he was named the MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week three times.
