ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley clinched a Commonwealth Conference tournament berth with a 9-0 win over Lycoming on Thursday.
The Dutchmen (8-4, 4-1 CC) dominated the short-handed Warriors (2-9, 1-4 CC), who had to forfeit a pair of unstaffed matches.
LVC won five singles matches without allowing a point, with
Christie Graf,
Lori Noble,
Nicole Kracum,
Lauren Shanberg, and
Brittany Dierwechter earning shutout wins and Alyssa Patosnak earning the forfeit victory at No. 6.
In doubles, Graf and
Amelia Capuano won 8-1 at No. 2 and Noble and Shanberg were 8-2 victors at No. 2.
Ariana Freeman and
Olivia Edwards were credited a forfeit win at No. 3.
LVC will visit Misericordia on April 23.
