Lebanon Valley 6, Albright 3
READING, Pa. - Strong singles play carried Lebanon Valley past Albright, 6-3, on Saturday.
Trailing 2-1 after doubles, LVC won five of six singles matches in straight sets to pick up the win and improve to 7-4 overall, 3-1 in Commonwealth Conference play. The win means LVC can clinch a postseason berth with a victory over Lycoming on Thursday.
Christie Graf won at No. 2 by a 6-4, 6-1 score over Brooke Ronney, and
Mary Kate Lemon added a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 3 over Alyssa Sell.
Lori Noble won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4,
Nicole Kracum won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5, and
Lauren Shanberg was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at No. 6.
Lemon and Kracum had LVC's doubles point, an 8-2 win at No. 2.
