Lauren Fulmer became LVC's all-time doubles wins leader and recorded her 100th career win in the process to help the Dutchmen beat King's, 8-1.
Fulmer's 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles with
Mary Kate Lemon took her to 50 for her career, surpassing former teammate Shayna Heintzelman '11, who went 49-25 in her career. Fulmer now stands at 50-26; the win also made her the third player in program history to reach 100 combined victories, as she improved to 51-24 in singles play with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3 over Madeline Griffin. Fulmer joins Heintzelman and
Sarah Grodzinski '10 in the century club.
The Dutchmen also won at No. 1 singles as
Christie Graf and
Amelia Capuano cruised 8-1, then swept all six singles flights. Graf won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1, and Capuano recorded a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 2. Lemon won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4, and
Lori Noble was a 6-4, 6-4 winner at No. 5.
Nicole Kracum shook off a tough first set to win 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 at No. 6 to complete the victory.
The Dutchmen (7-5) will visit F&M on Friday.
