Elizabethtown 7, Lebanon Valley 2

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Elizabethtown rallied back after Lebanon Valley won two doubles matches, winning all six singles flights to take a 7-2 match on Saturday.

The Blue Jays (7-2, 1-0 CC) dealt the Dutchmen (6-5, 1-1 CC) their first Commonwealth Conference loss of the season. Christie Graf and Amelia Capuano won at No. 1 doubles 8-1, and Mary Kate Lemon and Meghan Muccilli earned a 9-7 victory at No 2. However, singles was all Jays as they won five of the six in straight sets. Capuano battled Allison Burkhardt at No. 2, winning the first set but ultimately falling 6-7 (5), 6-1, 6-0. Lemon also played a tight match at No. 5 with Christine Evangelista, falling 6-3, 7-6 (5).

The Dutchmen will head to King's on Tuesday for a make-up of their thrice-delayed match.
