Frostburg State Shuts Out Baseball, 10-0

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Strong pitching by Frostburg State shut down Lebanon Valley's bats in a 10-0 win at McGill Field on Tuesday.

Southpaw Curtis Randall scattered five hits over seven innings to earn the win for the Bobcats (21-14), who did most of their damage at the plate in the sixth and seventh innings.

Derek Brousseau threw well in the opening innings, striking out three over two before Frostburg awakened the second time through the line-up to hit him for seven runs. Andrew DeCew led LVC at the plate with a 2-for-3 day, including a first-inning double. Dylan Tamecki also doubled.J.K. Filauro led FSU with a 3-for-4, 3-RBI day.

The Bobcats put runs on the board in the third and fifth to lead 3-0, but blew the game open in the sixth after Filauro started a rally that manufactured four runs. Three more runs came across in the seventh.

LVC will head to Elizabethtown Friday to start their final series of the season.
