HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Lebanon Valley worked a shutout for the second straight day, beating Eastern 9-0 in the morning before dropping a 7-2 match to Tennessee Wesleyan as part of its spring break trip to Hilton Head Island.

Christie Graf's battle with Jenna Laubach at No. 1 highlighted the Eastern match as the two went to tiebreaks in both sets. Graf came out on top 7-6 (1), 7-6 (5). The Dutchmen swept all the other flights with little trouble as Lauren Fulmer, Mary Kate Lemon, and Lori Noble all won 6-1, 6-0 at Nos. 2, 3, and 4, Lauren Shanberg won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 5, and Brittany Dierwechter was a 6-3, 6-3 victor at No. 6.

LVC allowed just three points in doubles as Graf and Amelia Capuano won a shutout at No. 1, Lemon and Fulmer won 8-1 at No. 2, and Nicole Kracum and Noble were 8-2 winners at No. 3.

Against Tennessee Wesleyan, LVC picked up wins at No. 3 doubles, where Kracum and Shanberg won 8-6, and at No. 6 singles as Shanberg cruised 6-0, 6-4. TWC picked up straight-set wins everywhere else, although No. 2 doubles was a tight match as Fulmer and Lemon pushed Tatum McMahon and Jayden Morrison in a 9-7 battle.

The Dutchmen (4-3) will close out their spring break trip Thursday against Malone.
