Lebanon Valley College 4, Frostburg State 1
SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team brought its high-powered offense and defeated Frostburg State in the ECAC Semifinals on Saturday afternoon by a score of 4-1.
Four different players scored for the Dutchmen as junior
Kevin Doty, freshman
Gabe Stasyszyn, sophomore
Jake Herron, and classmate
Cam Alexander each notched tallies in the victory. With the win, the Valley moves to play either Muhlenberg or Swarthmore in the ECAC Championship on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Alexander put the Valley on the board just eight minutes into the contest as he took a feed from Stasyszyn and chipped the ball up over the goalie and into the back of the net for the 1-0 advantage.

Ryan Habick connected for the second goal of the contest. Habick's free-kick chance found the head of Doty, who punched it in the left side netting to put LVC up 2-0 going into the half.
After the majority of the second half saw no other scoring, Herron notched an unassisted tally at the 82:14 mark to seal the game at 3-0. The Dutchmen gave up the only Bobcat goal just 14 seconds later, but Stasyszyn put his in the net at the 87:22 mark to secure the decision with a final score of 4-1.
Senior goalkeeper
James Clements was excellent in the contest, making seven saves for the win. Frostburg State went through two goalkeepers as Drew Hock and Hassan Mostafa made one save and gave up two goals, respectively.
The Bobcats held the edge in both shots (15-8) and corner kicks (5-2), but LVC converted on their chances. Doty, Stasyszyn, and Alexander led the offense with two shots apiece, while Herron and freshman
John McHale each posted scoring chances.
