ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley volleyball team did not drop a set in two wins as part of the LVC Tri-Match with Penn State Berks and Misericordia on Saturday afternoon inside LVC Gymnasium.
In the opening match of the day, the Valley took care of Penn State Berks after a tough 26-24 first-set win with a 25-17, 25-19 finish.
Junior
Kayla Confer led the way offensively with 12 kills and just three errors on 27 swings. Sophomore
Alli Quirk and senior
Sarah Godfrey also contributed to the attack with eight and six kills, respectively.
Sophomore
Emily Sides was instrumental in the momentum of the match as her play from the service line, including four aces, set up points all day for the Dutchmen.
Junior
Kacey Musselman was effective as usual with a dig-assist double-double of 15 and 35, while sophomore
Allie Garrett led the way in the back with 16 digs. Additionally, Quirk tallied three block assists and a block solo at the net and Musselman added two block assists.
In the second match, LVC took care of Misericordia easily with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, and 25-22.
Confer was again the leader of the offense with 11 kills and four errors on 30 attacks and Quirk chipped in with eight kills and two errors on 27 swings.
