ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley volleyball team remained unbeaten in Commonwealth Conference play with a hard-fought win on Wednesday evening over Lycoming in four sets.
The Valley won an opening set featuring back-and-forth play, 27-25, but dropped the second, 22-25. The second set was tied up at 22 apiece before the Warriors rallied off three straight points to even the match.
However, LVC imposed its will in the third stanza, winning easily, 25-14, and took care of business in the fourth, tallying back-to-back points after a 23-23 tie to take the set and the match.
Junior 
Kacey Musselman was excellent all over the floor as she notched a double-double with 44 assists and 16 digs. Musselman also added three kills and two service aces to round out her stat line.
Three players were able to post double-digit kills as sophomore 
Alli Quirk, junior 
Kayla Confer, and freshman 
Greta Weidemoyer recorded 16, 12, and 11 kills, respectively. Sophomore 
Emily Sides tallied three aces from the service line, while Quirk added five block assists at the net.
Defensively, four players reached double figures in digs as sophomore 
Allie Garrett picked up 19, Musselman had 16, senior 
Jess Finlayson notched 14, and freshman 
Rachel Moltz helped out with 10.
With the win, the Dutchmen secure no less than a second seed in the Commonwealth Conference Tournament, assuring them at least one home playoff match. LVC's record moves to 21-3 on the year and 7-0 in conference play.
Next up for the Valley is a trip to Oneonta, N.Y. this weekend for four matches as part of the Hartwick/Holiday Inn Invitational.
