FROSTBURG, Md. - Lebanon Valley found itself in early trouble at Frostburg State Monday that ended in a 10-3 loss.
The Dutchmen (11-13) headed into the top of the second down 4-0. They got on the board when
Phill Dohner singled in
Jacob Rhody, who reached on an error.
LVC got runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
Aaron Mills knocked in
Derek Brousseau in the fifth.
Colt Zarilla tripled and scored on a lineout in the sixth.
Jordan Witmer led the team with a pair of hits to improve his season average to .322.
The Bobcats (14-12) were led by a three-hit night by centerfielder Torian Cyrus.
Matthew McMonagle (0-2) was hit with the loss after surrendering six runs on seven hits and two walks in his second start of the season. The other four runs were allowed by
Zack Rex in relief.
