ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley rolled to its fifth straight win, improving to 7-3 with a 9-0 shutout of York on Thursday.
The Dutchmen were without No. 1
Christie Graf for singles, but playing up wasn't a problem for the rest of the lineup as they won every match in straight sets, surrendering just 14 total points.
Amelia Capuano made her debut at No. 1 singles and won 6-1, 6-2 over Kacie Weatherhead, while
Lauren Fulmer cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 win against Megan McCullin.
Tam Lobb topped Arcondia Vlahos 6-2, 6-2, and
Mary Kate Lemon won her sixth straight with a 6-0, 6-1 victory against Nicole Olsen.
Meghan Muccilli defeated Emily Price 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5, and
Lori Noble picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6 against Emily Skutnik.
In doubles, Graf and Capuano won 8-0 at No. 1, while the teams of Fulmer/Lemon at No. 2 and Muccilli/Lobb at No. 3 both won 8-5.
LVC will host Stevenson on Sunday.
