HERSHEY, Pa. - A dramatic late goal by Andy Thurby sent the game to overtime, and LVC won a shootout to take the first game of their weekend series with Drexel 4-3 (2-1 SO).

The Dutchmen (7-2, 2-1 ECHA) spotted the Dragons (4-5, 2-1 ECHA) a 3-0 lead before goals by Andy Thurby and Tyler Skroski put them back in the game, and Thurby scored with 28 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime.

Romano Mascetti began the second period with Drexel's third goal with assists by Williams and Woyshner, but LVC pulled a goal back midway through the period as Thurby scored from Jimmy McNally and Danny Willey.

Skroski cut the Drexel lead to 3-2 to start the second period, firing a shot top shelf with help from McNally and Thurby. LVC kept the pressure up throughout the third period, and it finally paid off in the final minute.
