ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley wrapped up its dual meet schedule Saturday, hosting Messiah in the final tune-up before MAC Championships.
On Senior Day, the Dutchmen honored
Ryan Humphries, Gabriel Lincoln-Decusatis, and
Carly Wilfong as they won four events. The men fell 203-48 to end the season 2-9, while the women lost their dual 157-104 to finish 6-5 overall.
The women's 200 free relay of
Jan Ikeda,
Mary Gardner,
Noelle Brossman, and
Alicia Hain highlighted the meet with a new school record, finishing in 1:58.99 to take more than a second and a half off the previous mark of 2:00.55.
The women's 200 medley relay led the meet off with a victory as Hain,
Julia Mongeau, Ikeda, and Gardner touched first in 2:12.44.
Noelle Brossman scored a win in the 50-backstroke, winning by two-hundreths of a second in 34.66. Gardner took the 50-breaststroke in 39.39, and Ikeda won the 50-fly in 29.99.
The men were led by a number of second-place finishes, including
Matt Dwyer in the 200-free (2:17.45),
Shane Miller in the 50-free (27.42),
Erik Brandt in the 100-breaststroke (1:15.07), and
Eliott Bonds in the 400-free (5:08.35).
LVC will now prepare for the 2012 MAC Championships, to be held at the CYC in Wilkes-Barre starting Feb. 10.
