ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley swimming teams competed for the third consecutive weekend as the Dutchmen took on Elizabethtown College at the Arnold Sports Center on Saturday afternoon.
Marina Weidman and
Ryan Kuffa hit MAC qualifying times during the meet.
The visiting Blue Jays won by a 179-63 score on the women's side and by a score of 186-48 on the men's side.
Inside the Results
- The women's 200-meter freestyle relay team of Noryan Mitchell, Natalie Bourne, Karly Kile, and Marina Weidman finished second with a season-best time of 2:04.20. The men's squad of Roman Schelhorn, Caleb Sikalis, Owen Fastrich, and Ryan Kuffa also had a season-best time as they finished third in 1:54.84.
- Fastrich swam a time of 2:16.38 in the 200-meter freestyle to finish second. He finished third in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:10.26. The sophomore was also second in the 200-meter IM with a time of 2:37.74.
- Mitchell touched the wall third in the 50-meter backstroke with a time of 37.55 seconds.
- Lily McNutt finished third in the 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 40.95 seconds.
- Colbey Brown just missed the MAC qualifying time in the 100-meter butterfly as she touched second in a season-best 1:20.69.
- Weidman won the 50-meter freestyle in a MAC-qualifying time of 29.93 seconds. She was also third in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:18.80, just missing the MAC qualifying time.
- Schelhorn was second in the men's 50-meter freestyle with a time of 28.35 seconds.
- Kuffa won the 100-meter freestyle in 57.87 seconds. His time qualified him for the MAC Championships in the event. He won his second event of the day in the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 4:46.21.
- Eddie McClain was third in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:38.47.
- Kile touched third in the 100-meter breaststroke with a season-best time of 1:30.83.
- Bourne was second in the 500-meter butterfly with a time of 35.40 seconds, while Brown was third in 36.24 seconds.

The Dutchmen will wrap up competition for the fall semester in two weeks when FDU-Florham makes the trip to Annville for a dual. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Nov. 22 against the Devils.
