WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - A tough shooting night and a hot Lycoming team doomed Lebanon Valley as the Dutchmen fell 92-61 in their return to Commonwealth Conference play Wednesday night.

The Dutchmen (8-6, 1-2 CC) shot just 28.4 percent from the floor while the Warriors (14-1, 4-0 CC) shot 51.4 percent, including 57.6 percent in the first half, behind four double-digit scorers.

Joe Meehan led all scorers with 19 points and Danny Brooks notched his sixth double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Kevin Anthony Led Lyco with 18 points, and Patrick Dougher pitched in 17. Jerald Williams threw out 14 assists.

Lebanon Valley was never in the game, going just 6-for-31 in the first half (including 0-for-8 from beyond the arc) as Lycoming raced out to a huge 49-26 halftime lead.

The Warriors quickly doubled the Dutchmen at 18-9 early in the game, and LVC's woes only got worse from there. After Kevin Agnew hit a layup with 13:34 remaining in the first half, the Dutchmen managed just two field goals for the rest of the half - a Brooks layup with 8:38 left and Sam Diaz's bucket with 32 ticks remaining. In the meantime, the Warriors were red-hot, extending their lead to 49-26.

The second half was more of the same, and the Dutchmen managed just one bucket in the opening 3:33 as Lyco built their advantage to as much as 40 points.

Other than shooting, the game was relatively even on the stats sheet - Lycoming led 45-42 on the glass and 16-14 on turnovers.

LVC will host Alvernia on Saturday.
