HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Lebanon Valley won its second straight match in South Carolina, rolling past MAC foe Eastern University 8-1 Tuesday morning.
The Dutchmen (4-3) swept doubles and won all but one singles flight in straight sets for the victory over the Eagles (1-2).
In singles,
Lauren Fulmer led the way at No. 2 with a 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Allison Verdic, and
Christie Graf followed suit at No. 3 winning 6-1, 6-0 against Jacquelyn Sauder.
Tam Lobb beat Amanda Prescott, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 4,
Morgan Brady defeated Christina Haahs 6-2, 6-1, and Jess Ferlenda beat Elaine Grazulis 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6. At No. 1, Eastern's Bekah Roland beat
Shayna Heintzelman 6-2, 6-3.
In doubles, Heintzelman and Graf won 8-3 at No. 1, Fulmer and Lobb won 8-1 at No. 2, and Brady and Ferlenda won 8-0 at No. 3.
LVC will wrap up their spring break schedule Wednesday against Marian.
