Lebanon Valley 69, Arcadia 55

GLENSIDE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley had little trouble winning its fourth straight game, leading wire-to-wire to beat Arcadia 69-55 in their return to Commonwealth Conference play.
The Dutchmen (9-4, 1-2 CC) picked up an important early conference win behind a balanced team effort that included 12 points and seven rebounds from
Danny Brooks and 11 points from
Joe Meehan. LVC held the Knights (4-8, 0-3 CC) to just 31.8% field goal shooting.
Grant Becker pulled in 12 rebounds, and
Anthony Trautman added nine points with four assists, while
Jordan Stewart had seven points and eight rebounds.
Sean MacIntosh scored nine off the bench for LVC.
Substitute Colin McCarthy led Arcadia with 17 points, and Jason Thompson tacked on 11. LVC held a 45-32 rebounding advantage.
LVC ran out to an early 15-5 lead and never lifted off the gas, extending their lead to 12 by halftime as Brooks scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half.
Arcadia never had to chance to get into it after the break as Meehan led off with a three-pointer followed by a Trautman jumper, sparking a scoring run that finished with LVC up 52-29 at the midway point of the half.
The Dutchmen open the second half of their home schedule Wednesday against Lycoming.
