Box Score
ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley mounted a gritty comeback attempt in the second half, but ultimately couldn't overcome a poor-shooting first half as it fell to Lycoming, 74-68, in Commonwealth Conference play on Wednesday.
The Dutchmen (10-4, 1-3 CC) shot just 33.8% for the game as they nearly erased a 15-point lead by the Warriors (11-4, 1-3 CC), who shot 50% overall and 22-for-30 at the line despite 25 turnovers - 17 of them unforced.

LVC went through a dismal opening going scoreless for more than six minutes after taking an early 5-4 lead as Lycoming pulled away with a 16-0 run. The Dutchmen couldn't find their shot and finished the half down 37-23, shooting just 10-of-32 overall and 2-for-9 from three-point range.
Things quickly turned around in the second half, however, as three straight buckets by Trautman cut the lead to eight and gave LVC new life. The Dutchmen got within striking distance midway through the half when Trautman sank three free throws to make it 51-47, and two foul shots by Meehan moments later made it a one-basket game at 55-53.
The two sides traded buckets and both went into a lengthy scoring drought, but Lycoming's Davis delivered the dagger when he drilled a trey with 2:15 left to take a five-point lead, and two foul shots by Anthony all but put the game away at 64-57 with 1:46 left. The Warriors made their foul shots down the stretch to ice the game.
