ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley volleyball played a tight match with Albright Wednesday night but came out on top, winning in straight sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-23) to remain perfect in Commonwealth Conference action. Senior

Michelle Little notched nine kills against Albright, while Perkins totaled 39 assists. The Dutchmen recorded 10 service aces, led by three from senior
Jess Raber. Lebanon Valley posted 47 digs in the match, with eight players posting two or more. Junior
Angela Kuperavage claimed a team-high 11 digs, while Raber had eight. On the front line, LVC registered six block assists, led by two from Snyder.
The two teams stayed close in the first set until Lebanon Valley (104, 3-0 CC) took a 24-21 lead and claimed the match off an attack error by Albright (3-10, 1-2 CC).
Lebanon Valley held the advantage in the second set, going up 9-3 after a kill by Schoch. The Dutchmen extended their advantage to 19-9 after an attack error by Albright. The Lions hung tight, ultimately falling 25-19 after LVC claimed the set point off a kill by senior
Joelle Snyder.
Albright looked to stretch the match to four sets after a kill by Alyssa Hoogendoorn cut LVC's lead to one point and left the set point in balance for the Dutchmen, but junior
Jamie Hawk rallied, posting a kill with an assist from senior
Emily Perkins to claim the three set sweep.
Lebanon Valley travels to Haverford for a non-conference match Thursday beginning at 7 p.m.
