ASTON, Pa. - LVC men's basketball assistant coach
Lenny Stanziano has been named head coach at Neumann University, it was announced Tuesday.
Stanziano, who spent two seasons with the Flying Dutchmen, will take over a Neumann program that went 11-14 last year and 7-9 in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. He replaces Mike Gallagher, who departed in the off-season for the head job at Wilmington University.
A search for a new LVC assistant coach will begin immediately.
Before Lebanon Valley, Stanziano spent two seasons as the Associate Head Coach at St. Mary's College of Maryland where he helped the Seahawks reach the semifinals in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) during the 2006-07 season. Prior to St. Mary's, he was an assistant coach at Monsignor Donovan (N.J.) High School for two seasons (2003-05). Stanziano is a 2005 graduate of Richard Stockton College.
