ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Lebanon Valley College women's tennis team won its third match in a row, beating Susquehanna University 8-1 Sunday afternoon.
The Dutchmen (3-0) swept the doubles points before sophomore Sarah Grodzinski beat Britanny Guerin at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Senior Leslie Sabas won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2, and junior Kelly Moll gutted out a three-set victory over Brittany Reiman at No. 3, 2-6, 6-4, 10-2.
Freshman Shayna Heintzelman and junior Sara Wagner eased to wins at Nos. 5 and 6. Susquehanna's Shelby Werronen got the only Crusader win of the afternoon, besting junior Charissa Nordall 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 in a competitive No. 4 singles match.
LVC will opens it conference slate Thursday, hosting Elizabethtown at 3:30 p.m.
