Mariah Leinbach Named Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach

6/10/2026 12:23:00 PM

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley women's basketball Head Coach Julia Duggan has announced the hiring of Mariah Leinbach as Assistant Coach.

"We are excited to welcome Mariah to our team," Duggan stated. "We are thrilled to have her join us and look forward to the energy, creativity, and dedication she will bring as we continue to grow the program."

Leinbach joins the Dutchmen staff after spending a year as a Graduate Assistant at Division II Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. The Hawks went 17-12 last year and were 14-6 in Conference Carolinas play, falling to fifth-seeded and eventual conference champion, Lees-McRae College, in the quarterfinals. Leinbach was a part of all daily operations for the Hawks, including developing and presenting scouting reports and coordinating team travel. She also played a role in recruiting by leading the on-campus visits.

"I'm excited for the opportunity to be a part of this program and help our student-athletes grow as players, students, and young women," Leinbach stated. "I'm grateful to Coach Duggan for believing in me and trusting me with this opportunity, and I can't wait to get to work."

Leinbach is a 2025 graduate of Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Studies. She was a four-year member and two-year captain of the Rams women's basketball team, playing in 102 games with 69 starts. She averaged 8.8 points and 4.7 rebounds a game while earning First Team All-Region honors during her time at CIU.
