ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's basketball team had four student-athletes named Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization this week.
The Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and have played in 90 percent of games or started in 66 percent of games this winter, with a limit of four nominations per school. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Apr. 15, 2026.
The four Dutchmen who were honored are
Kailey Eckhart,
Riley Hevelow,
Abbie Reed, and
Brielle Reidinger. Hevelow was selected to advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
Eckhart is a senior Early Childhood Education major from Myerstown, Pennsylvania. The forward played in 24 games and made 23 starts and earned Honorable Mention All-MAC Freedom honors. She averaged 13.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 40.8 percent from the field. This is her first career Academic All-District honor.
Hevelow is a senior Exercise Science major from Newark, Delaware. The guard started all 25 games she played in and earned Third Team All-Region as well as First Team All-MAC Freedom honors. She averaged 15.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while shooting 43.8 percent from the field. This is her third consecutive year earning Academic All-District honors.
Reed is a junior Criminal Justice and Psychology major from Manheim, Pennsylvania. The guard played in 23 games with 22 starts. She averaged 5.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 30.8 percent from the field. This is her first career Academic All-District honor.
Reidinger is a senior Exercise Science major from Easton, Pennsylvania. The forward started all 26 games and earned Second Team All-MAC Freedom honors. She averaged 10.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game while shooting 44.7 percent from the floor. This is her third consecutive year earning Academic All-District honors.
